What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is the single most powerful psychotherapeutic tool for breaking the negative trance states of depression and anxiety!

Our subconscious minds become programmed with patterns of behaviour and once programmed it becomes very difficult to change these patterns. The subconscious mind responds to images and emotions rather than words and logic.
Hypnosis is a normal and natural method of altering someone’s state of consciousness. I focus on solutions and what the client wants to achieve rather than problems that have brought them to seek change.

Hypnosis itself reduces anxiety very simply through relation and visualisation, allowing the client to focus on positive aspects of their lives and encouraging a shift in perspective.

Solution-focused Therapy uses practical, modern and well researched strategies including the best of SFBT, CBT and NLP to help people make significant, positive changes in their lives in a relatively short period of time.
It is particularly helpful with confidence and self esteem problems and is now recognised as one of the most successful interventions (if necessary in conjunction with medication) in the treatment of Depression and Anxiety; including panic attacks, agoraphobia, IBS and many others.

All interventions have a profound affect on the way our problems, whether past, present or future, are all viewed and dealt with. A major re-evaluation takes place. They are also second to none as a route to greater self-awareness enabling us to become the person we were always meant to be.

Treatment is tailored to each clients individual needs and circumstances, while average length of treatment varies it is generally under twelve sessions.
